Working within a broken mental health system often feels like trying to heal in a place that wasn’t designed to truly support recovery. Long wait times, limited access to qualified professionals, high costs, and stigma can make the process frustrating and, at times, discouraging. But people still find ways to navigate it—by advocating for themselves, seeking out community support, and using whatever resources are available, even if they’re imperfect.

Thank you for sharing this Aldwin, your words really resonate.
ReplyDeleteI understand where you’re coming from. As someone who has had the opportunity to contribute in small ways in care settings, I’ve seen how difficult it can be to hold onto hope in spaces touched by struggle and exhaustion.
It’s often not easy to find happiness or positivity when you feel drained and surrounded by hardship, especially in a time where even basic support can feel out of reach.
But I still believe that people try, in their own ways, to find that light again using whatever resources they can, even if imperfect. Sometimes healing is about taking small steps to feel grounded again.
Thank you for being here and for sharing your voice in this space.
